APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENT OF LICENCE FOR GENERATION

The Electricity Regulatory Authority (ERA) has under Section 44 and 45 of the Electricity Act 199, Cap 145, and The Electricity (Application for Permit, License and Tariff Review) Regulations, 2007, SI No. 60 of 2007. received an Application for Amendment of Generation License from Aggreko International Projects Limited for Generation of electricity.

Aggreko International Projects Limited requests to extend the operations of the Kiira plant to June 30th 2009 under the following terms:

The License extension is necessary to ensure un-interrupted supply of electricity. Under Regulation 16 of Electricity (Application for Permit, License and Tariff Review) Regulations, 2007, the Electricity Regulatory Authority hereby invites stakeholders and the public to make comments within fifteen (15) days after Publications of this notice.
