Generation Tariffs

A generation tariff is the price payable by the Transmission Company, (Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Limited) for power generated and delivered to the grid by the generation companies.

A generation tariff is either a capacity price expressed as a currency unit per MW/hr or an energy price expressed as a currency unit per kWh.
