Director Economic Regulation
Mr. Benon Mutambi
This Department is headed by the Director Economic Regulation - Mr. Benon Mutambi who works with other technical officers namely;
- The Economist - Mr. Mbaga Tuzinde.
- The Statistician/IT Officer - Mr. James Philip K Sembeguya.
The tasks for Economic Regulation include but are not limited to the following;
- Work as cross cutting teams.
- Spearhead tariff application, evaluation and approvals.
- Economic review of all Licensee activities.
- Coordinate the electricity sector data gathering and interpretation of trends.
- Coordinating sector and statistical reports.
- Maintain and manage the ERA database. .
